Introducing Mr. and Miss SIU 2018. . .

Keith Allen - I have danced for 9 years at the studio. I have tried many types of dance but my favorites are certainly ballet and lyrical. Along with dance I am heavily involved in my schools music program including the musical. In the fall I run cross country and in the spring I run track. Dance has taught me countless life lessons and I hope the studio continues to inspire everyone who enters.
and
Justine Wright - I have been dancing at Strike It Up Artistic Center since the age of 3. She began with just taking tap, ballet, and acro classes on Saturday mornings, to taking competition acro class during the week and having a competitive acro solo. From there she transitioned into taking travel dance classes along with the competition Acro classes. Justine is a hard-working and self-motivated student. She's always willing to help the others around her. Justine obtained a knee injury this year causing her to not dance as much as she wanted to. This motivated her to come to every competition willing to help other students and teachers with whatever they needed her to do, from stretching to running choreography with them.
